Week 2: Walking Challenge

We are entering the second week of our walking challenge, where we attempt to log students, their families and teachers walking distances and track them virtually around Europe.

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ Day 8 complete ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ Time flies when you're having fun! Sometimes it can be hard to get motivated on a Monday but we did it. ๐Ÿ˜Š WELL DONE EVERYBODY! We have travelled a total of 301kms. We have just landed in Nuremberg, GERMANY ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Nuremberg is famous for it's historical landmarks like the Imperial Castle ๐Ÿฐ and the Walled Old Town. Day 9 tomorrow, where to next? Stay tuned as prizes will be announced later in the week. ๐ŸŽ We will be rewarding those students who are engaging with the challenge on a daily basis and logging their kilometres.

The days are getting longer and the mornings are getting brighter, finally๐Ÿ˜Š

Yesterday we walked over the Charles bridge in Prague, The Czech Republic ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Charles bridge is a beautiful medieval stone arch bridge!

Today we travelled a total of 342kms. We have landed at The Blue Church โ›ช๏ธ in Slovakiaโ€™s capital Bratislava ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ This is a Hungarian Secessionist Catholic Church located in the eastern part of the Old Town in Bratislava. It is referred to as โ€œThe Blue Churchโ€ because of the colour of it's facade, mosaics and blue-glazed roof.

Day 11 tomorrow letโ€™s do this !

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธDay 12 complete ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ Well done everyone, another successful week. Yesterday we stopped off in The Szechenyi Spa Baths in Budapest, Hungaryโ€™s capital ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ. Today we have made it to Zagreb, Croatia ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท That is 528kms in total!!! Day 13 tomorrow, letโ€™s get out in the fresh air.
