Our Transition Year students enjoyed pumpkin carving today! Students had the opportunity to get creative, develop their artistic skills and bring their own spooky designs to life. It was a great way to embrace the Halloween spirit while working together and enjoying a fun, hands-on activity.

Our First Year students have been exploring the world of Graphics during the final week of their subject tasters. From building 3D shapes to creating colourful structures, students have been putting their creativity, problem-solving and spatial awareness skills to the test. Our Senior hurlers drew their opening Munster Championship match this evening, against Clonmel High School. The boys were 8 points down at half time but battled back well, and were unlucky not to win the game. Thanks to Piltown for use of their excellent facilities.

Last Friday, we came together as a school community for our Opening School Year Mass. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Richard O’Halloran, who is marking his Silver Jubilee of Ordination to the Priesthood. It was particularly special to welcome Fr.
