GAA Medal Presentation
We had a medal presentation yesterday in school for our winning GAA teams from the 2024/2025 season. The panels that collected medals were the: 1st year Hurling County Champions U15 Hurling County Champions U15 Gaelic Football County Champions. Well done to all involved. Today our TY Computer Class looked a little different. As it was our final class together, we visited Gigi’s Park Café for coffee, smoothies, and some sweet treats. All Ireland Semi Final Result ERSS 4-2 St. Kilians CS, Bray Well done to our First Year soccer team on winning today's All Ireland semi final. Road Victims Association
Irish Road Victims Association Talk Mr Leo Leghio vice president of the Irish Road Victims Association visited ERSS and spoke to TY and fifth year students on Thursday 7th May. Leo spoke frankly and honestly about the worrying statistics in relation to road safety. Leo emphasised to students the ever present dangers on the road and how to minimise risk. A great afternoon in ERSS celebrating the achievements of our soccer teams this year. Preparing for Presidency
Liam, Evan and Austin represented ERSS at today’s “Preparing for the Presidency” event in Kilkenny, where they heard from MEP Billy Kelleher and Minister for Europe Thomas Byrne. Through discussions on climate action, security, competitiveness and rights, the day highlighted how vital it is for young people to contribute their perspectives as Europe plans for the future.
