The Annual Awards Night is an opportunity to commend many of our students on their hard work and dedication, whether that be in their academics, their school spirit or in the many sports and extra-curricular activities the school has to offer.

Guest of Honour at our Awards Night 2025 was 3 time Olympian and multi medallist at European and World Championships Mr. Thomas Barr. Mr. Barr spoke with pride and passion about his illustrious career to a captivated audience made up of students, parents and staff of E.R.S.S.  Thomas  stressed the importance of having a good supportive network of people around you in all walks of life. He encouraged students to find their passion in life and to quote Mr. Barr "to be disciplined, to put the process first and goals will come”

Thomas presented certificates and trophies to students across all year groups to acknowledge academic excellence, school spirit and involvement in extra-curricular activities. As a school community , we are most grateful to Mr. Thomas Barr for taking the time to attend our Awards Night  and for his engagement with students and all attendees at this most prestigious of occasions in our school year.
