Our TY group spent 4 great days in Barcelona/Salou. Every day was jammed packed with tours, activities, sight seeing and not to forget some fun in the sun too
After arriving Wednesday the group went on a bus/walking tour taking in the many sights and historical areas of Barcelona like the famous La Sagrada Familia, the 1992 Olympic stadium, Las Arenas de Barcelona & Playa de la Barceloneta. An early start Thursday saw the group venturing high into the mountains to the peaceful monastic settlement of Montserrat, where they did some exploring. Camp Nou was the next stop of the day, here the group got to experience the stadium tour and museum. The day finished off with the whole group spending time in the bowling alley and arcade. Friday was fun filled from early to late with the whole group enjoying what Portaventura theme park had to offer - lots of thrill seekers in this TY group! Our final day on Friday started bright and early with a trip to the beach for one last dip (for those who were brave enough) before checking out of our hotel and heading to CosmoCaixa Science Museum. Lots of interesting displays and interactive activities for all here. A stroll up Las Rambla and some shopping time in the sunshine was a perfect way to finish up what was a very enjoyable and memorable TY tour. “Friendships formed, memories made” #BarcelonaTY2019Tour
