Basketball

Recently the second years completed their matches in the group stage of the second year basketball. The team topped the group with an impressive overall scoreline of 131 points scored to 32 conceded, an excellent return across four matches. Top point scorers were Harry O’Brien with 31, Jamie Lonergan with 24, Brodie Wheeler with 17, Jamie O’Shea with 15 and Oran O’Brien with 14. There were as many as 14 different scorers with 23 students completing at least one quarter of game time. Congratulations to all involved. The quarter final will take place the week of the 2nd of March. We are still currently waiting for the other groups to finish their games to find out our next opponent.
