TY students are currently running a bulbs for bees initiative. Unfortunately bees in Ireland are rapidly declining in numbers. To help our friendly pollinators we are asking everyone to plant a few bee friendly bulbs such as crocus and grape hyacinth to provide food for the bees early in Spring. We are selling packs of 8 bulbs for 50c. These can be planted in pots or in the garden and will help our pollinators as well as looking beautiful. Bulbs can be bought next Tuesday lunchtime in the biology lab and Wednesday lunchtime in the art room.
