Christmas Food Appeal

Young SVP Christmas Food Appeal 2019

Last Monday members of Young SVP in ERSS presented representatives of St.Nicolas Conference of St.Vincent de Paul, Carrick-on-Suir, with their collected donations of food from the school community.

Also included in the Christmas collection were gifts from a SVP Giving Tree that was in the staffroom and some of the proceeds of 1st Year Carol Singing which were spent on food and on vouchers for local butchers and shops around Carrick on Suir.

Our Young SVP group were blown away by the generosity of students, parents, staff and the wider community in making the appeal such a success. Many thanks to you all. Well done to all the members of Young SVP and their teachers Ms.Barry, Ms. Murray and Mr. Stevenson for organising everything this year.
