Darkness into Light 2025

SENIOR CYCLE STUDENTS.

This year’s Darkness into Light Walk in aid of Pieta will take place on Saturday 10th May at 4.15am from the CBS GREENSCHOOL.

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the morning of the Walk.

There are two types of volunteers required.

ROUTE STEWARD...volunteers will be placed at a position on the route to ensure the safety of participants. You may be required to temporarily halt traffic or the flow of walkers to allow traffic pass. We may also ask you to put out jars/tea lights in various areas and pick them up afterwards. Hours are approximately 3.30 to 6am. You will be paired with one other steward for the duration.

VENUE SET UP VOLUNTEERS .. Assisting with setting up the Venue by putting up posters, setting up tables, preparing refreshments etc as well as helping to clear up afterwards. Hours required approximately 2.30/3am til 7am. It’ll be a busy but very friendly atmosphere.

Volunteers between 16-18 will be placed with an adult. Message the Darkness into Light Facebook Page if interested. #darknessintolight
