Our ERSS delegates at DCMUN had an excellent and highly engaging day, fully immersing themselves in some of the most contentious global issues on the agenda.
In the General Assembly, delegates debated immigration, education in war zones and in the Special Conference students tackled sex trafficking and Government corruption. These challenging topics prompted thoughtful contributions, robust debate, and impressive diplomatic engagement throughout the day.
A particular highlight was the success of our delegate representing the Palestinian National Authority, who skilfully navigated negotiations and succeeded in getting their resolution passed. Other delegates also performed outstandingly, assisting with debate and speaking persuasively in favour of resolutions. Overall, it was an excellent day that showcased the students’ confidence, preparation, and ability to engage meaningfully with global issues.
