Explore Carrick 2025

A huge congratulations to the 2nd year and Ty students who took part in the Explore Carrick initiative 2025.

Today Shéa Foley, Leon Foley, Eoin Ruane and Rivers Briscoe picked up 2nd place for their app “Traverse Carrick”. The app was created for tourist to the area and for local business to get involved.

The team won prize money of €1000. The team is already in talks about investing the money back into the business and of course some for themselves.
