LCVP Chocolate Gardens

As part of their Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP), 5th year students recently took a sweet and educational trip to The Chocolate Gardens in Tullow. The visit provided a unique opportunity to learn about the chocolate-making process, from bean to bar, in a hands-on and engaging environment. Students gained insight into the business and production aspects of chocolate making, aligning perfectly with the enterprise and career investigation elements of their LCVP module. Of course, the highlight for many was the chance to sample some of the delicious handmade chocolates—an experience that added a tasty touch to the day. The trip was both informative and enjoyable, offering students a memorable way to connect their classroom learning with the real world.
