Representatives of 1st Year in Edmund Rice Secondary School presented a cheque (525 euro) to Carrick-on-Suir Lions Club this morning, proceeds of their recent bake sale in the school in aid of the victims of the earthquake in Turkey & Syria. Many thanks to Mr.Brian White (President), Ms.Stephanie Keating & Ms.Maria Madden for taking the time to meet with our students & for explaining to the boys how the money will be used on the ground in areas devastated by the earthquake.
