ERSS Students Begin Coaching Placement at Presentation Primary School with Swan GAA Club

We are delighted to share that seven of our 2nd Year students will begin their hurling coaching placement with Swan GAA Club in The Presentation School this term. Building on the success of last year’s programme, the students will once again support the club’s coaching team during their weekly sessions throughout March and April.

Last year’s group found the experience incredibly rewarding—gaining confidence, developing leadership skills, and strengthening their connection to the local GAA community. Their contribution was greatly appreciated by coaches and pupils alike, and we are proud to continue this valuable partnership.

This year’s group of seven are enthusiastic, committed, and ready to get involved. They will assist with warm‑ups, skill development drills, small‑group activities, and general support around the sessions. The initiative not only benefits the younger pupils taking part, but also provides our own students with hands‑on experience in teamwork, communication, and responsibility.

We wish the students the very best as they begin their coaching journey this term and look forward to seeing them represent the school with the same positivity and enthusiasm shown in previous years.
