Day 1:
After their early start, TY students enjoyed a tour of Barcelona with our fantastic guide Maria. Students took in the breathtaking sights including the Montjuïc Viewpoint, the Olympic Stadium, Christopher Columbus Statue and the infamous La Sagrada Familia. The students rounded off their first evening with some pool and arcade games in our hotel. Looking forward to the adventures to come in the next few days.
Day 2;
Students enjoyed a trip into the mountains to visit Montserrat. Students took to the mountain top by cable car and some braved the climb. Then the TYs travelled to the picturesque town of Tarragona, taking in the historical town including its amphitheatre. Afterwards a trip to the bowling alley and the arcades was thoroughly enjoyed.
Day 3
TY Barcelona Trip Today students ventured to PortAventura Theme Park in Salou. Many students taking on the infamous Shambula, Furious Baco, Dragon Khan rollercoasters. Always a highlight of the TY Barcelona Trip.
Day 4
The TY’s final day in Barcelona saw them visit the infamous CosmoCaixa Science Museum, shopping in the Maremagnum Shopping centre, taking in the busy streets of Barcelona and a trip to the Aquarium. A lovely way to end the trip.
