TY drama workshop

Bernard Casey is a comedian, actor and drama teacher from Portmagee village Co. Kerry. After his first live comedy gig at UCC RAG Week in 2011, Bernard has sold out shows at the INEC, Vicar Street & The Everyman Theatre Cork along with venues in the London, New York & Boston. Bernard’s online comedy videos have over 15 million views & have garnered him over 130,000 social media followers. His passion for comedy & acting also lead to the creation of his hugely popular Drama Workshop for secondary schools students in Ireland. We were lucky to have Bernard in to work with our Transition Years this Tuesday. Bernard created a very active hands-on experience where student worked on acting and improvisation skills. He brought out a different side to many students and got them to see they had tapped into an unknown talent.
