TY Manual Handling

Thanks very much to Siobhan Doherty of the Europlan Group from coming to ERSS Carrick-on-Suir and running a manual handling course for our Transition Year on Friday 20th of Sept. The workshop was a nice mix of theory and practical activities to reinforce their new techniques. This is a welcome addition to any CV especially at this stage in the year as it helps students prepare for the world of work. TY students take part in various work experiences of their choice for the duration of the year and now more then ever employers look for the this prior to offering a placement.
