ERSS Carrick on Suir 3-1 Abbey CC
Another great comeback performance from our under 19 team saw us progress to the last 16 of the Munster Senior Cup today.
After falling behind to a spectacular overhead kick the boys battled hard to get back into the game and equalised with 15 minutes remaining when Fabian Urbanski headed in Callum Lanigan"s free kick.
As in the previous round it was extra time and we took the lead towards the end of the first half, Luke Power was fouled in the box before cooly finishing the resulting penalty to the top corner.
The game was wrapped up with minutes remaining when Callum Lanigan slotted under the keeper from distance. Well done to all involved, thanks to Abbey CC for a great sporting game and to Carrick United for the use of their facilities.
