DCMUN 2026 Day1
Our ERSS delegates arrived safely at the stunning Cork City Hall for DCMUN and listened to the opening address of the 11th conference. They enjoyed engaging lobbying sessions in both the General Assembly and the Special Conference. We are especially proud that two of our delegates featured in the prestigious MUN Times. U14 First Year Soccer
Well done to our U14 team who advanced to the last 16 of the Munster Cup with a great win against a strong Scoil Ruain Killenaule team today. Our goals came from Zach Norris (2), Dale Redmond (2), Ryan Walsh(2), Jack Norris and Joaquin Garcia. Well done to all.

Our first years are getting to grips with figurative language and having lots of fun with it! They’ve been began with exploring similes, metaphors, and personification, then showing their understanding through drawings and examples of their own. So much creativity and brilliant shown in this sample of their posters.

TY Climate Module
As part of a climate and resilience module looking at rainfall and flooding TY students competed to create their own flood defences using a limited amount of materials. The team whose defense held out the longest against the flood won. Congratulations to Dylan's team just beating Alex's team by 5 seconds.

✨ Congratulations to our winners of "Student of the Month" for December! ✨ We are proud to celebrate students who have excelled across the three categories – Academic, ERST Spirit, and Extra-Curricular. Each award recognises outstanding effort, commitment, and passion both inside and outside the classroom. 🌟👏 Students were presented with their Certificates and Gift Vouchers by their Year Heads.

U17 Soccer
Munster Junior Trophy Semi Final ERSS 3-2 St. Mary's Newport A great win for our U17 today as they joined our under15s in the Munster Finals with a hard fought win over Newport today. The weather proved to be very challenging but goals from Jay O'Gorman, Fionn Power and an OG saw us well in control at the break. Newport never gave up and pulled back two late goals. Thanks to Bohemians for hosting today's game. Well done to all involved.

TY Barista Course
Our Transition Year students recently took part in an exciting Barista Course delivered by the Dublin Barista School. Michelangelo found it easy to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. First Year Historians found out today just how difficult it is to draw for a few minutes in an unusual position and realised how hard it would have been to spend 4 years at it !
