1st year Bake Sale
First Year Bake Sale Success! 🍰 Our First Year students held their bake sale today, and it was a fantastic success! A huge amount of work and effort went into organising the event and baking such delicious treats. We are delighted to share that €200 was raised, which will go towards the bus for their upcoming trip to Dunmore East Adventure Centre. A big thank you to all the students and staff who supported the sale, your generosity and enthusiasm made it all possible! 👏

3rd year Maths Quiz
Annual Pi Maths Quiz On Tuesday 16 of our Third Year Higher Level maths students attended the annual @imta_maths Pi Quiz in Clonmel. They worked well together completing 8 rounds of questions. Unfortunately there were no wins but the experience was really enjoyable, well done to the boys for their efforts. Thanks again to the @presentation_secondary_clonmel for hosting the event.

Student Council Conference
ERST STUDENT COUNCIL CONFERENCE Today members of our school community travelled to Cork for the annual ERST Student Council Conference. An informative day focusing on Unity and Advocacy in our schools. Happy Easter From the Green & Art Club
Students have been busy over the past few weeks taking part in creative, hands-on activities during their lunchtime sessions. The club provides a relaxed and enjoyable space where students can unwind, socialise, and explore their creativity. Munster First Year Collins Cup Semi Final ERSS Carrick on Suir 4-3 Col. Mhuire Buttevant Well done to our First Year team as they advanced to their first Munster Final as ERSS players. A very tough encounter today, but the boys battled throughout and goals from Dale Redmond, Bryan Lacey and Ryan Walsh had us heading for extra time before Cathal O'Meara smashed in a late winner. U17 Champions
Munster U17 Junior Trophy Champions ERSS Carrick on Suir 2-1 Intermediate School Killorglin. A great win for our u17s today in Fermoy. Ferdia Geoghegan gave us the lead midway through the second half from a Jay O'Gorman assist. Killorglin equalised with 10 minutes remaining before Glenn Bompoh popped up to score the winner from another Jay assist. Well done to all involved, a deserved trophy at the end of the season.

Kathleen Funchion MEP Visit
Students at ERSS recently had the opportunity to engage with European and local politics during a visit from Kathleen Funchion MEP and Cllr. David Dunne. Kathleen Funchion, Member of the European Parliament, spoke to our TY EPAS students and 3rd years about her role as an MEP, outlining her journey into politics and sharing her vision for the future of Europe. She emphasised the importance of young people becoming actively engaged in EU politics and having their voices heard

Munster Minor Final u15
Hard luck to our U15 soccer team who narrowly missed out on the Munster Minor Trophy ⚽️ Full time finished 2–2, followed by extra time and a penalty shootout where it just didn’t fall our way 😔 A tough result, as we were the stronger side overall and deserved the win but couldn't get it over the line. A special thank you to TD Michael Murphy for hosting our Dáil Éireann visit this morning . An amazing opportunity for our third year students to get a guided tour of Leinster House .
