Recently, our Transition Year students had the fantastic opportunity to take part in Tusla’s Transition Year Programme, an initiative designed to introduce young people to the important work of Ireland’s Child and Family Agency. The interactive sessions gave students a real insight into Tusla’s mission and the wide range of careers available within the agency. They learned about roles in social work, educational welfare, family support services, and many other areas that make a positive impact on children and families across the country. Students described the programme as eye-opening and inspiring, with many saying it helped them consider new career paths in social care and public service. The event was a great success, and we are proud to have offered this unique learning experience as part of our TY curriculum.
