Work experience is one of the main elements of the Transition Year Programme and gives students very useful exposure to the working life. It also helps students to determine whether a particular occupation or industry may be of interest as a career. Some of the benefits of work experience to our students include increased confidence, organisational and communication skills gained in a working environment. At this stage of the year, as we come to the end of our first term we would like to acknowledge the efforts of our work experience providers both locally in Carrick-on-Suir as well as further afield. These businesses/companies/organisations are an integral cog in the Transition Year wheel here at ERSS. Thank you.
