On Monday, January 27th, our under 15 Gaelic Football team took on Thurles C.B.S. in a gripping Cusack Shield Final at Dr. Morris Park. Conditions on the day were calm but very cold and scores were difficult to come by. This was due, in no small part, to both sets of backs playing exceptionally well. Fortunately we had put up a healthy lead by half time and we maintained our composure in the second half to overcome a relentless wave of attacks by Thurles. Cameron Harrison made 2 outstanding saves, allowing us to finish out on a score line of 1-6 to 0-3.
I, Mr. Molloy, would like to take this opportunity to thank this panel of players, for their conduct and commitment during the season. Well done and well deserved lads.
