TY Gaisce Adventure
Gaisce Adventure - Graiguenamanagh Transition Year students recently took part in a memorable two‑day outdoor adventure with E Movement as part of their Gaisce Award programme. The group travelled on Monday to take part in a range of water‑based activities including kayaking, hydro‑bikes and boat trips, facilitated by Go with the Flow River Adventures. EPAS 10 year Anniversary
We are proud to celebrate 10 years of the EPAS programme and delighted that Edmund Rice Secondary School has been part of this journey over the last few years. Our students have gained so much from their involvement, from engaging with MEPs and developing their understanding of European democracy, to completing the EPAS course booklets and actively participating in Europe Day celebrations each year. School Transport Applications – 2026/2027
The School Transport Scheme, operated by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department of Education and Youth, will open on Friday 27 March for applications and payments. The closing date for payments is Friday, 8 May 2026 and a full media campaign will begin shortly. Ukraine/IPAS applications: In order to fully integrate all pupils using mainstream school transport, all pupils who have arrived in Ireland from Ukraine and all pupils residing in IPAS/EROC centres will be required

Suir Engineer Talk
Many thanks to Mr Paul Cremmins from Suir Engineering for his interesting and engaging talk with our TY and 5th year students on Thursday 26th March. Paul has over 50 years experience in the electrical industry and has worked in various projects in countries such as Saudi Aradia, Germany and England. Meals on Wheels, Carrick
A thoughtful gesture that reflects the spirit of the season. TY students Danny and Fionn were delighted to present Carrick-on-Suir Meals on Wheels with a selection of Easter treats, recognising the important service they provide to members of the local community. 1st year Bake Sale
First Year Bake Sale Success! 🍰 Our First Year students held their bake sale today, and it was a fantastic success! A huge amount of work and effort went into organising the event and baking such delicious treats. We are delighted to share that €200 was raised, which will go towards the bus for their upcoming trip to Dunmore East Adventure Centre. A big thank you to all the students and staff who supported the sale, your generosity and enthusiasm made it all possible! 👏
